Indiana High School Basketball - Highland ripped by Morgan Township

The Morgan Township Cherokees basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Highland Trojans to 31 in the Cherokees non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cherokees now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette Jefferson for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Morgan Township will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 52-46 non-league win over Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Bronchos record now stands at 8-2.

The Trojans (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Griffith (Griffith, IN). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Griffith triumphed over Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN), 51-29, in a non-league contest.
