In Tuesday's non-league outing, the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hillsboro Spartans (Hillsboro, OR), by a count of 88-45.
The Royal Scots (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR). The Raiders go into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 1-6 record.
The Spartans now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host David Douglas for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 2. Hillsboro will clash with a Scots squad coming off a 82-55 non-league loss to Sheldon (Eugene, OR). The Scots record now stands at 5-3.
