California High School Basketball - Perris knocked off by Whittier

The Whittier Cardinals basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Perris Panthers to 51 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Don Lugo for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Whittier will battle a Conquistadores team coming off a 89-40 non-league loss to Upland (Upland, CA). The Conquistadores record now stands at 4-10.

The Panthers (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle (Pasadena, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, La Salle ran past Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA), 68-46, in a non-league contest.
