The York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) basketball crushed the host Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 59-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Dukes (9-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, St. Francis was trounced by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 53-32, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Plainfield Central will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 61-26 non-league loss to Assumption (Louisville, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 5-8.
