The Union City Soaring Eagles basketball team (Union City, NJ), dropped 61-49 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Saddle River Day Rebels (Saddle River, NJ)
The Rebels now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph-by-the-Sea for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Saddle River Day will confront a Vikings team coming off a 70-41 league win over Monsignor McClancy (Queens, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 7-2.
The Soaring Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ). The Purple Roses come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, St. Rose beat Morristown (Morristown, NJ), 51-25, in a non-league battle.
