The Golden Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lacey Township smashed Middletown South (Middletown, NJ), 63-60, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Garnet Gulls battle the Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Point Pleasant Beach will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 71-70 non-league loss to Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ).
