Illinois High School Basketball - Somonauk overwhelmed by Coal City

In Thursday's non-league test, the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) basketball squad trounced the host Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL), by a score of 57-34.

Next, the Coalers clash with the Flanagan-Cornell Falcons (Flanagan, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Coal City will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 8-2 record after their 60-40 non-league win over Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL).

The Bobcats (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers come into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Plano bounced Newark (Newark, IL), 72-47, in a non-league test.
