Illinois High School Basketball - Providence-St. Mel thwarts College Prep of America

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Providence-St. Mel Knights (Chicago, IL) and the visiting College Prep of America Thunder (Lombard, IL), observed Providence-St. Mel's basketball team knock off College Prep of America by a score of 63-50.

The Knights (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Daystar Academy (Chicago, IL). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Daystar Academy was knocked off by Morgan Park Academy (Chicago, IL), 61-55, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunder encounter the Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. College Prep of America will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 52-50 non-league win over Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL).
