The Thompson Warriors basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Columbia Eagles to 51 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now have a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Huntsville for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Thompson will confront a Panthers team coming off a 59-42 non-league win over Ramsay (Birmingham, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Columbia falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Austin (Decatur, AL) to confront the Black Bears in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Black Bears go into the game with a record of 12-4. Austin lost 59-56 in their recent non-league game against Midfield (Midfield, AL)
