North Carolina High School Basketball - Garner nips Washington

December 26, 2024: Garner, NC 27529

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Garner Trojans basketball team scored a close 63-57 triumph over the Washington Pam Pack.

The Trojans (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets go into the 4A Greater Neuse River contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Clayton was tipped by John Marshall (Richmond, VA), 70-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pam Pack battle the Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) in a 2A Eastern Plains contest, on Friday, January 3. Washington will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 85-78 non-league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC).
