In Thursday's non-league contest, the host George Washington Eagles basketball team scored a good 76-63 triumph over the Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors.
The Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Norfolk Academy topped Orange County (Orange, VA), 51-41, in a non-league contest.
