California High School Basketball - Justin Garza knocked off by Merced

In Thursday's non-league test, the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host Justin Garza Guardians (Fresno, CA), by a score of 60-45.

Next, the Bears confront the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 27. Merced will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 5-7 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Lemoore (Lemoore, CA).

With the loss, Justin Garza falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Guardians travel to Independence (Bakersfield, CA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, December 27.
