The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Overlea Falcons (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD), observed Overlea's basketball team edge Northeast by a score of 58-54.
The Falcons (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Loch Raven (Towson, MD). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Loch Raven was tipped by McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 70-57, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Tri-State Christian Crusaders (Elkton, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Northeast will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 67-36 non-league win over Harford Christian (Darlington, MD).
