Texas High School Basketball - Community holds off Chisum

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Community Braves basketball team scored a close 47-40 triumph over the Chisum Mustangs.
The Braves (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bells (Bells, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Bells nipped Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX), 58-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Whitewright Tigers (Whitewright, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Chisum will attempt to better on its 6-14 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 32-24 league loss to Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX).
