In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Elmwood Trojans basketball team scored a big 64-23 win over the Galva Wildcats.

The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Princeville (Princeville, IL). The Princes come into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Princeville was trounced by Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL), 45-35, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Galva will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Farmers come into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 55-22 non-league loss to Midland (Varna, IL).
