The Hale Center Owls basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs to 16 in the Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Owls now have a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wall for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Hale Center will confront a Hawks team coming off a 48-40 league win over Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, McKinney Christian Academy falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hamlin (Hamlin, TX) to confront the Pied Pipers in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Pied Pipers go into the game with a record of 4-3.
