North Carolina High School Basketball - Menchville overwhelms Hickory Ridge

December 26, 2024: Harrisburg, NC 28075

The Menchville Monarchs basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls to 41 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Monarchs now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Spalding for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Menchville will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 51-43 league loss to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Hickory Ridge falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Ragin' bulls travel to Henrico (Richmond, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-0. Henrico won 72-63 in their recent league game against Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA)
