In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Santa Monica Vikings basketball team scored a good 53-37 triumph over the Hoover Tornados.
The Vikings (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Village Christian topped Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 57-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tornados battle the Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Hoover will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 61-44 non-league win over St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA).
