Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Central knocks off Manual

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the host Manual Rams (Peoria, IL), observed Lake Central's basketball team overcome Manual by a margin of 44-26.

The Indians (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Springfield Southeast dropped by Lincoln (Lincoln, IL), 43-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Elmwood Trojans (Elmwood, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Manual will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 39-36 non-league win over Midland (Varna, IL).
