The Monticello Sages basketball squad (Monticello, IL), lost 56-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL)

With the victory, Tri-Valley advances its record to 11-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Ridgeview (Colfax, IL) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 4-8.

The Sages now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuscola for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. Monticello will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 74-40 non-league loss to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-6.
