The Mountain View Yellowjackets basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Viola Longhorns to 31 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Mayflower for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Mountain View will confront a Eagles team coming off a 63-34 league loss to Dover (Dover, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Viola falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR) to confront the Pirates in a 1A Region 2 game on Thursday, January 9. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 6-10.
