In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Faribault Falcons ice hockey team scored a close 10-4 victory over the Worthington Trojans.
The Falcons (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Windom (Windom, MN). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Windom edged Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 6-4, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans play the Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Worthington will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Tartan (Oakdale, MN).
