The Spanish Springs Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host South Tahoe Vikings to 35 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Reed for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Spanish Springs will play a Raiders team coming off a 67-54 non-league win over North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Raiders record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, South Tahoe falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to McQueen (Reno, NV) to play the Lancers in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Lancers go into the game with a record of 7-4. McQueen won 61-35 in their recent non-league game against Owyhee (Owyhee, NV)
