In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Kennedy Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Independence Falcons.

The Cougars (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Centurions go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Saugus got by Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA), 10-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 27. Independence will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Royals go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Arleta (Arleta, CA).
