In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Ventura Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the St. Genevieve Valiants.
The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Taft got by Poly (Sun Valley, CA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Valiants confront the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 27. St. Genevieve will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Parrots go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA).
