Virginia High School Basketball - Burton can't hold off Virginia

The Virginia Bearcats basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Burton Black Raiders to 59 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Bearcats now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 28. Virginia will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 80-39 non-league win over Council (Council, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-1.
The Black Raiders (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Norton, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Central was nudged by Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA), 42-39, in a non-league contest.
