The Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) basketball knocked off the host Robstown Cottonpickers (Robstown, TX), 70-52 in Monday's non-league test.
The Eagles (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Marlins go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record.
The Cottonpickers now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Needville for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 28. Robstown will encounter a Bluejays squad coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-14.
