Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX), saw Alamo Heights's basketball squad wallop Medina Valley by a count of 71-45.

With the victory, Alamo Heights upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Mules travel to Lanier (San Antonio, TX) to play the Voks in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Voks come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Lanier won 61-49 in their recent league challenge against Burbank (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Friday, December 30. Medina Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 45-30 non-league win over Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX).
