The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Rockport-Fulton won 62-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Tuloso-Midway Warriors/Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, December 30. Alice will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Warriors/Cherokees come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 52-35 non-league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX).
