The Andrew Thunderbolts basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Downers Grove South Mustangs to 39 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunderbolts now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naperville North for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Andrew will battle a Huskies team coming off a 64-42 non-league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 8-6.
The Mustangs (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Giants enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Highland Park was routed by St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 72-49, in a non-league contest.
