The Austin Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Hauser Jets to 59 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Decatur for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Austin will battle a Cougars team coming off a 60-34 non-league loss to Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.

The Jets (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Hagerstown was nudged by Monroe Central (Parker City, IN), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
