The Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Norton Panthers (Norton, OH), 68-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their test against John F. Kennedy (Cleveland, OH). The Fighting Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record.

The Panthers now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Norton will encounter a Mohawks squad coming off a 66-47 non-league win over Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH). The Mohawks record now stands at 9-3.
