College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC), 70-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, College Prep & Leadership Academy upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Royals travel to Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Eastern Guilford lost 57-44 in their recent league bout against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)

Next up, the Wolves play the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Bethany will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 65-56 non-league loss to Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
