North Carolina High School Basketball - North Buncombe ripped by Bishop McGuinness

The Bishop McGuinness Villains basketball team scored 69 points and held the host North Buncombe Black Hawks to 45 in the Villains non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Villains now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Bishop McGuinness will battle a Cougars team coming off a 59-49 non-league loss to Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-8.

The Black Hawks (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tournament Opponent (, ). The enter the non-league contest with a 45-120 record. In their last contest, Tournament Opponent was routed by Cherokee (Cherokee, NC), 75-46, in a non-league contest.
