Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL), 45-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sparkman upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Senators travel to Westminster Christian (Huntsville, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Westminster Christian won 66-57 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia (Huntsville, AL)

Next up, the Bucks clash with the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Buckhorn will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 42-24 non-league win over Oxford (Oxford, AL).
