Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA), 72-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gateway upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Erie (Erie, PA) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Erie won 64-48 in their recent non-league bout against Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA)

Next up, the Bucs play the Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Burrell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 88-47 non-league loss to North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA).
