The Carbondale Terriers basketball team (Carbondale, IL), was overwhelmed 77-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Marion Patriots (Marion, AR)

The Patriots now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Marion will confront a Crimsons team coming off a 68-45 non-league loss to Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Crimsons record now stands at 2-10.

The Terriers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Blue Tornado come into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Paducah Tilghman trounced Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL), 68-45, in a non-league battle.
