South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cloverdale Clovers (Cloverdale, IN), 59-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Vermillion upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Terre Haute North Vigo won 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Robinson (Robinson, IL)

Next up, the Clovers play the Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN) in a Western Indiana bout, on Friday, January 6. Cloverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 63-52 non-league win over Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN).
