The Tolman Tigers basketball team (Pawtucket, RI), was nudged 77-72 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI)

The Clippers now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Salle Academy for a State Championship battle on Tuesday, January 3. Cumberland will confront a Rams team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Rams record now stands at 6-1.

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Villa Novans come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Woonsocket was nudged by Lincoln (Lincoln, RI), 61-45, in a non-league battle.
