With the victory, Deshler upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Rogers (Florence, AL) to play the Pirates in a 4A Area 16 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Rogers won 71-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland (Cleveland, AL)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Lawrence County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 74-64 non-league win over Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL).
