Virginia High School Basketball - Pulaski County knocked off by George Wythe

The George Wythe Maroons basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Pulaski County Cougars to 58 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Maroons now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Radford for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. George Wythe will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 58-34 non-league win over Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.
The Cougars (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Fort Chiswell was defeated by Tazewell (Tazewell, VA), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
