Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lutheran South Lancers (St. Louis, MO), 70-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hickman upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Kewpies travel to Vianney (Kirkwood, MO) to play the Golden Griffins in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Golden Griffins go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Lancers play the St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Lutheran South will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 56-42 non-league win over Westminster Christian (St. Louis, MO).
