The Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts basketball team (Chillicothe, IL), was toppled 49-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL)
The Cavaliers now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochelle for a Interstate Eight battle on Tuesday, January 3. LaSalle-Peru will confront a Hubs team coming off a 82-57 non-league win over Marengo (Marengo, IL). The Hubs record now stands at 5-7.
The Grey Ghosts (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record.
