Alabama High School Basketball - Russell County can't hold off Jefferson Davis

The Jefferson Davis Volunteers basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Russell County Warriors to 71 in the Volunteers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Volunteers now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shaw for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Jefferson Davis will battle a Raiders team coming off a 73-63 non-league win over Carver (Columbus, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-10.

The Warriors (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Enterprise (Enterprise, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Enterprise was nudged by Central (Phenix City, AL), 76-70, in a non-league contest.
