Texas High School Basketball - Westlake fells John Paul II

Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), 66-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westlake upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Chaparrals travel to Weiss (Pflugerville, TX) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Weiss won 57-55 in their recent non-league bout against McNeil (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Guardians clash with the Veritas Academy (Austin, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout, on Friday, January 6. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 72-60 non-league win over Austin Achieve (Austin, TX).
