With the victory, Mineola upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Tatum (Tatum, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-10. Tatum won 73-71 in their recent non-league bout against Huntington (Huntington, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Warren Warriors (Warren, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Kountze will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 56-34 non-league win over Lovelady (Lovelady, TX).
