The L.C. Bird Skyhawks basketball team (Chesterfield, VA), was toppled 70-61 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Lake Taylor Titans (Norfolk, VA)
The Titans now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manor for a Eastern battle on Friday, January 6.
The Skyhawks (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Rapids come into the Dominion battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, James River Midlothian beat Floyd Central (Eastern, KY), 61-59, in a non-league battle.
