Lodi Rams (Lodi, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), 54-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lodi upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Lakeland Regional won 58-43 in their recent non-league bout against Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ)

Next up, the Vikings play the Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Colonial bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Devils go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-18 non-league loss to Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ).
