Minnesota High School Basketball - Mesabi East ripped by Pine City

The Pine City Dragons basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Mesabi East Giants to 30 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Dragons now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cloquet for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Pine City will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 71-35 non-league win over Cromwell (Cromwell, MN). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 2-4.
The Giants (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cromwell (Cromwell, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Cromwell was routed by Cloquet (Cloquet, MN), 71-35, in a non-league contest.
