The Newton Braves basketball team (Newton, NJ), was toppled 55-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ)
The Gaels now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morris Knolls for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 4.
The Braves (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ). The Tigers come into the Northwest Jersey - Freedom battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Hackettstown beat Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ), 60-43, in a non-league battle.
